A little about Tyler, Texas

Tyler Texas was formed in 1880 and is the current county seat of Smith County in Central Texas .Since Nationally, very few Americans could point to where Tyler Texas was on a map. However, Tyler Texas makes a big impact throughout the state of Texas. Today, over 100,000 people call the city of Tyler home!

Tyler is the Rose Capital of America, which is how the city earned its nickname Rose City and Rose Capital of the World. Tyler is home to the largest rose garden in the world which boasts over 38,000 rose bushes that come in about 500 varieties. Tyler is also home to the Annual Texas Rose Festival which caters to thousands of tourists from Texas and rose lovers abroad.

Tyler is also home to the Caldwell Zoo. The Caldwell Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and is a proud member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Here visitors can feed giraffes, see endangered rhinoceros, and learn about native reptiles, mammals, arachnids, and insects.

Attractions Near Alpine Creek Apartments

Residents of Alpine Creek are also nearby Broadway Square, a one-story enclosed shopping mall. This is one of two major malls in East Texas and provides numerous boutiques and stores for visitors and locals alike to peruse and shop.

As well, Alpine Creek is near several schools including Bishop Thomas K. Gorman Catholic School, Hubbard Middle School, and Clarkston Elementary School. As well, Alpine Creek is five minutes from a Walmart Supercenter and a Walmart Neighborhood Market, Southside Park, and several local area restaurants and bars.
